A plan just for you.
Our clinic provides a wide range of dental treatments for the entire family. We start with a comprehensive dental exam, and once a proper diagnosis and prognosis is reached, a treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs.
Hygiene
Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Crooks has completed courses at The Las Vegas Institute and can help you achieve the beautiful smile that you have always wanted. Options for cosmetic dentistry include all porcelain crowns for teeth which are bonded into place. This type of treatment is highly aesthetic, and can be used to align teeth, replace broken or worn down teeth, or simply enhance the smile that you already have.
Root Canal Therapy
Crown & Bridge
A crown or “cap” is a full coverage permanent restoration. This type of restoration covers the entire tooth and provides the tooth with strength, so it can be used as if it was natural tooth in the mouth that can withstand the forces of chewing. A crown may be required in several situations: a tooth that has been treated with a root canal, a tooth with excessive decay, and a tooth that has had a large filling placed.
A bridge is placed to replace a missing tooth. A crown is placed on each side of the space where a missing tooth is, and a tooth is attached to each remaining tooth to fill in or “bridge” the space.
Implants
A dental implant is an artificial root made of titanium metal. It is inserted into the jawbone to replace the root of the natural tooth. An artificial replacement tooth is attached to the implant. The implant acts as an anchor to hold the replacement tooth in place.
If you do choose to proceed with this type of procedure, our office will arrange a referral to a periodontist. At the periodontists office the implant is placed. There will be a healing time of approximately 6 months. Once the strength test is complete the implant will then be restored. This service is provided in office with Dr. Crooks, it involves an appointment where an impression of the implant and teeth are taken, and then a follow-up appointment where the final restoration is then placed.
